Hubway Stone Custom
Custom B2B website for made-to-order natural stone pieces, built around architectural products, material character, fabrication capabilities, and project collaboration.
Project Overview
The Project
A Digital Platform for Custom Stone Objects
Hubway Stone Custom focuses on made-to-order natural stone pieces for architects, designers, developers, and other professionals working on distinctive interior and architectural projects.
The website was designed around finished stone objects rather than slabs or standard inventory. Bathtubs, sinks and basins, fireplaces, lighting, architectural elements, fountains, sculptures, and fully custom pieces form the core of the product experience.
The structure connects these product categories with material selection, fabrication expertise, and project collaboration, allowing visitors to understand not only what can be made, but how Hubway Stone can participate in the development of a custom piece.

The Challenge
Presenting Custom Fabrication Without Turning It Into a Standard Catalog
Custom stone work cannot be communicated like conventional e-commerce. Each piece depends on material, dimensions, design intent, fabrication requirements, and the characteristics of the individual stone selected for the project.
The website needed to present recognizable product categories while making it clear that the objects are not limited to fixed, off-the-shelf specifications.
At the same time, the experience had to remain visually restrained. Detailed information about materials, fabrication, collaboration, and project requirements needed to support the products without overwhelming the imagery or making the website feel like a technical specification library.
The challenge was to balance product discovery with the flexibility and individuality inherent in custom natural stone fabrication.
Our Approach
Building the Experience Around Custom Stone Work
Product-Led Structure
Custom stone work was organized into clear product categories, giving visitors familiar entry points while preserving the made-to-order nature of each piece.
Material Context
Product presentation was supported by material character, fabrication possibilities, and architectural context rather than relying on specifications alone.
Project Collaboration
The website guides architects, designers, and project teams from initial inspiration toward material selection, technical discussion, and a structured project inquiry.

The Outcome
A Focused Digital Presence for Custom Stone Fabrication
Hubway Stone Custom now has a product-led website that presents finished stone pieces within the broader context of material, fabrication, design, and project collaboration.
The finished platform gives architects, designers, and other project professionals multiple ways to explore the company, from individual stone objects and product categories to the broader capabilities behind custom fabrication.
Instead of separating products, materials, process, and project information into disconnected experiences, the website brings them together within a restrained architectural structure designed to keep the stone itself at the center of the presentation.
The resulting foundation can expand with new products, materials, and completed work while preserving a clear path from discovery to project inquiry.
